Had a fantastic sunset desert ride with Sahara Stables. Mr. Tanveer, our instructor, was outstanding. He guided us through horse handling and their behavior, making the experience exceptional. The well-trained horses and the Sahara desert backdrop at sunset created a magical adventure. Highly recommended! And I’m definitely going to come back for regular training!

Great atmosphere, horses well kept, lovely staff.

First time horse riding wasn’t happy with the reception from the staff which were mainly Asian with poor English. The horse manure smell was horrendous and nearly put me off wanting to have my first attempt horse riding. They gave me a huge boney grey horse to ride and I had to use steps to mount the horse. The reins were tied together in places and tatty. We were escorted around the desert at walking pace. I was still not confident enough to go a little faster. My stirrups came loose and I slide off the back of the horse with my legs wide open. Thankfully I was not hurt because I landed on my feet. My horse kept buckling and I felt unsafe whenever it lost its footing. This experience has put me off future horse riding but I am glad I had the experience.
