Beginners and driving experts can enhance their off-roading skills in special customized vehicles, with both manual and automatic options available. Available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., this one-day course will take participants through desert dunes under the careful watch and guidance of EDI’s accomplished trainers. It includes a workshop, vehicle checks, training on how to handle a 4X4, extensive self-driven practical training in the desert with safety tips, recovery techniques, and more. With a light lunch and refreshments provided, participants will also receive a desert driving course kit, desert driving manual and a certificate.

Prior booking (subject to availability) at least 48 hours in advance; cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. Valid only for option purchased. Printed voucher must be presented. No registration fee. No-shows will fortify the voucher. Valid for both men and women. Valid at EDI Al Qusais centre, 9am-5pm. Customers can bring up to 2 people as observers for a nominal charge of AED 100 per head. Observers will only be allowed for the VIP option. First 2 options will require a total of 3 students in order to confirm a booking. Either all 3 from one party who have bought 3 individual vouchers or three individual students that are booked in for the same time. For option 1, minimum booking of 3 people required. Booking will be confirmed once enough customers book. Friday classes are available for option 2 and 3, and require additional payment of AED 60 per head to be paid to EDI. Customers must have a valid UAE or international driving license. Customers advised to wear comfortable clothes, closed shoes, hats and sunglasses. See the rules that apply to all deals.
